SUNDAY, JULY 17, 2022

[Rev. Jose B. Perez] Thank you very much, missionary Miguel Bermudez Marin; may God continue to bless you greatly and keep you, and may you continue to be a blessing to the whole Church of the Lord.

All the brethren there also, in the congregation that Reverend David Rios pastors in Medellin, and to David also: God bless you. And to all the congregation there, and to all who are internationally gathered there: God bless you greatly, and to all who are also connected through the Amazonas satellite or internet on this occasion of today Sunday, July 17 of this year 2022.

We look in our Bibles, in Leviticus 16:5-11, where it tells us:

5 And he shall take of the congregation of the children of Israel two kids of the goats for a sin offering, and one ram for a burnt offering.

6 And Aaron shall offer his bullock of the sin offering, which is for himself, and make an atonement for himself, and for his house.

7 And he shall take the two goats, and present them before the Lord at the door of the tabernacle of the congregation.

8 And Aaron shall cast lots upon the two goats; one lot for the Lord, and the other lot for the scapegoat.

9 And Aaron shall bring the goat upon which the Lord’s lot fell, and offer him for a sin offering.

10 But the goat, on which the lot fell to be the scapegoat, shall be presented alive before the Lord, to make an atonement with him, and to let him go for a scapegoat into the wilderness.

11 And Aaron shall bring the bullock of the sin offering, which is for himself, and shall make an atonement for himself, and for his house, and shall kill the bullock of the sin offering which is for himself:

[JBP] And he above, there in the Bible, writes: [WSS] «The sacrificed kid goat ([JBP] that is, the first one) = Christ sacrificed and taken to the Mercy Seat to the Temple of Heaven».

[JBP] And of the second goat, he writes: [WSS] «The goat alive and sent to the scapegoat: Christ for our sins went to the 5th dimension, He took our sins there and He left them there. And he took away the keys of hell and death from the devil».

[JBP] And here next to it he writes: [WSS] «He resurrected as if He had no sins, He was justified».

[JBP] May God allow us on this occasion to understand this subject and this Bible study, and the message that we will be seeing and hearing: “THE MYSTERY OF THE DAY OF ATONEMENT.” May He open our understanding, may He open the Scriptures for us to understand His Word, His Program. In the Eternal Name of our heavenly Father, as King of kings and Lord of lords and Son of David, William. Amen and amen.

Scripture: Leviticus 23:26-32

Dr. William Soto Santiago
Sunday, June 11, 2000
Cayey, Puerto Rico

And now, the high priest during the year had one day that was more outstanding than all the others, and that was the day of atonement.

The high priest had to be in the temple, in the temple area, from a few days before the day of atonement. And the night before the day came, the morning, to carry out the atonement, the high priest had to be reading the Scriptures all night long; in other words, he would stay up all night. And there were people watching so that the high priest wouldn’t fall asleep: if he became sleepy, they would talk to him, so that the high priest wouldn’t fall asleep. So it was the most difficult day for the high priest.

And the high priest couldn’t fail on that day. They took an oath from him, from the high priest, that he would do all things according as God had established through Moses the prophet.

The high priest would, on that day, be performing the sacrifice of the kid goat.

He would also have assistants in the outer court to help him, but the work had to be done by the high priest. They also had a priest who could replace him if the high priest died before that day, or during that day before all that work of atonement was done.

Now, the high priest, after sacrificing the kid goat of atonement for the Lord, would take the blood of that goat in a vessel and go to the most holy place; going from the outer court to the holy place, and from the holy place to the most holy place.

No other person could enter the most holy place except the high priest; and he sprinkled with his finger on the east side of the mercy seat (which was the part facing him), he sprinkled the blood of the kid goat seven times with his finger on the east side of the mercy seat, which was the part facing the high priest when he entered.

As if this were the mercy seat:1 the high priest placed with his finger, he sprinkled with his finger seven times, on this part, that is, facing the mercy seat.

There were the two golden cherubim, and there was the presence of God in the midst of the two golden cherubim. And now, God was there shining in that dark place; for the most holy place had no light, no lamps; but the presence of God was the light of that place.

If you want to examine a little bit, look at the time when the trumpet of the year of jubilee is sounded: it is not sounded in the first month, it is not sounded in the first month of the year of jubilee; it is sounded in the seventh month, and it is sounded on the day… (let me see) it is sounded on the tenth day.

[Rev. Jose B. Perez] And Reverend William Branham tells us in the message “THE FEAST OF THE TRUMPETS,”2 page 36 of this Spanish version, tells us:

[220] …the Lord spake unto Moses, saying,

Speak to the children of Israel, saying, In the seventh month, in the first day of the month, shall ye have a sabbath, a memorial of blowing of trumpets, and an holy convocation ([JBP] he writes beside it: [WSS] «the Trumpets on the Day of Atonement. The 7th month»). See?

Ye shall do…the servile work therein: but ye shall not offer…offerings made by fire unto the Lord.

…and ye shall offer an offering made by fire unto the Lord.

221 Now watch. Now notice.

And the Lord spake…Moses, saying,

Also in the tenth day of the seventh month there shall be a day of an atonement:…

222 See, the atonement followed the…Watch now. The atonement followed the trumpet sound. See? How beautiful! See? The atonement day followed the trumpet [WSS] «(7th)».

223 Now—now, the fifty days of the trumpets, for us, symbolize when the trumpet sounded at pentecost, which was fifty days. Now—now—now, after this, the Jews rejected That.

224 Now the Trumpets is to call them back to that Atonement, see, the Atonement they rejected. And they rejected so our eyes could be opened; theirs was closed. And during this time, these Seals opened up, and the—the—the Trumpets blowed. And now, in the blowing of the Trumpets, just before the Messiah comes, ’cause they’ve got to be in Palestine [WSS] «The Messiah / Palestine» ([JBP] he writes there: [WSS] «Day of Atonement»). And you remember God had to harden Pharaoh’s heart, to run them out of Egypt; and He hardened Stalin, Mussolini, and all that, to get them back into the promised land, where the hundred and forty-four thousand is supposed to be.

[Rev. Jose B. Perez] And in the book of “THE SEVENTIETH WEEK OF DANIEL,”3 it tells us on page 36 of this version (must be 46 or 48 of the other one that was taken out), it says:

[150] …The reason I’ve always believed, ’fore my class here, that there was something that I’d have a part, before I die, of getting Israel back to the Lord. Because, when the very hour, by the Pan American chart, that Israel was declared a nation, for the first time for two thousand years since they been scattered, not a people; it was that very same hour, exactly to the hour, that the Angel of the Lord met me up yonder and sent me to the…with the Gospel. The very same thing, May the 7th, 1946 ([JBP] and he writes above: [WSS] «May 7, 1946»).

[JBP] And keep that date in mind for later…, later on we will read some writings of brother William. He goes on to say:

151 Now, then, another thing that gives me to know. It’s “restoring the hearts of the children back to the fathers, and the hearts of the fathers to the children,” the Message.

[Rev. Jose B. Perez] It goes on to say here, on page 2 of the Bible study:

And what falls on the tenth day of that month in which the trumpet of the year of jubilee is sounded? The Scripture says that on the tenth day of the seventh month, when the trumpet of the year of jubilee is sounded, on that same day, the day of atonement will be celebrated (that has to do with Israel):

[Leviticus 25:9] “…in the day of atonement shall ye make the trumpet sound throughout all your land.”

[Rev. Jose B. Perez] And he tells us in the message “RECOGNIZING YOUR DAY AND ITS MESSAGE,”4 on page 8:

[34] And we find out, then, that them fifty days was received by the Gentiles, which, “God called from the Gentiles a people for His Name,” the feast of the pentecost. And we have been going through that long feast of pentecost ([JBP] during all the seven ages of the Church that Feast of Pentecost has been fulfilled).

35 Now, actually, from the fifty days, would be exactly seven sabbaths. And seven sabbaths represented the Seven Church Ages, to be called in the time of the pentecostal feast, of Pentecost, to call a people from the Gentiles for His Name.

Now, at the end of these seven sabbaths, which has been, there was to be the Day of Atonement, which was the Seven Trumpets. And the Seven Trumpets was to call a day of mourning, back for the Sacrifice, or, the Atonement. And we find out then, that, Israel, the Seven Trumpets pertained only to Israel.

[JBP] And he writes there: [WSS] «The 7 Trumpets = produce the (Holy) Convocation of Israel for the Day of Atonement in the Fiftieth Year (Year of Jubilee)».

[JBP] And in this same book, on page 15 of this message “RECOGNIZING YOUR DAY AND ITS MESSAGE,”5 he tells us [PG. 14, paras. 70-73]:

[70] And if you can’t accept the whole Word of God the way It’s written, you wouldn’t do it There; so, don’t worry, you won’t be There.

You’ve got to accept It in Its fullness, in the power of Its vindication and the revelation of what It is, then you become a part of It. It’s only His Word that He’ll raise up ([JBP] and he writes: [WSS] «Moses and Elijah»), as He did His Word on the first Easter morning. Only His Word came forth, and those who had died in His Word, believing His Word and vindicated His Word.

71 Notice, now, that’s been twenty-seven hundred years ago. Notice, they were scattered, they were blinded, and now they’ve been gathered. Now, the next thing is that they are to receive Life.

72 And the Gentiles are called out. The Bride is ready. The Rapture is at hand. Can we realize that? Can we actually believe that? Is it a story that’s been told? Is it a myth, to us? Is it a something that sounds real? Is it something that we, outside, can believe? Or, is it something that’s in us, that’s part of us, that it’s more than life to us? What attitude do we set in, this morning, in this tabernacle? Remember, it’ll be a small flock that receives It.

73 Now in the homeland, waiting for the Trumpets. Now waiting for the going of the little Bride, so that Revelation 11 can be fulfilled. The church age has ceased; the Seals has been opened, that prove what they left out in the church age, and the Message has been given. Israel is on the scene, hallelujah, ready for the Feast of Trumpets.

[JBP] He writes:

[WSS] «The Feast of the Trumpets = the Jewish Age».

«Pentecostal Feast = Gentile Age».

[JBP] And further down he says (page 16) [PAGE 15]:

75 Israel in her land; drove them in there, herded them in there, like sheep. The wolves got after her and run them back to safety, to their own land. Remember, Israel is only promised to be blessed as long as she was in her land. God never blesses Israel outside of the land ([JBP] and above he writes: [WSS] «The blessings to the jews while they are in Palestine»). Abraham went outside the land, was condemned. Everyone that leaves the land is condemned. God only can bless Israel when she stays in her homeland, and she is there now as a nation. And the Church is called; she’s just only waiting for the Rapture, of the Bride taken out.

76 The Seals are open. It’s revealed to us. We see what they left off.

[Rev. Jose B. Perez] It goes on to say on page 3 (I’m in the Bible study):

So you can see that this is intertwined —very, very intertwined— with the Plan that God is developing for the blessing of Israel.

[Rev. Jose B. Perez] And in the book of Quotations he tells us, on page 130, paragraph 1153, he says (this is an excerpt of the message we read; but here, what he writes above, he says… of “THE FEAST OF THE TRUMPETS”):

1153 – “…the ministry will be Moses and Elijah, changing and calling Israel from the Jewish traditions, listen, from the Jewish traditions that they had been mixed up in. Being prophets, they’ll believe—they’ll believe him, calling them to the feast of the Atonement, Christ, letting them recognize Christ. They’ll say, ‘He is coming. He’ll be here.’ The Jews will be gathering, things like that. And then when He comes, say, ‘Here I am.’ ”

[JBP] And he writes: [WSS] «They call Israel from the Jewish tradition to the Feast of Atonement. Moses and Elijah».

[Rev. Jose B. Perez] That ministry, it speaks to us there… (the message was posted yesterday… brother Miguel announced it today, of the one you were listening to yesterday), there is a part here that our brother William speaks to us of that ministry:

Dr. William Soto Santiago

[Page 5] Elijah, his ministry is manifested five times: In Elijah the Tishbite, the first occasion. The second occasion in Elisha, with a double portion; type and figure of the one who will come in the fifth manifestation of Elijah’s ministry with a double portion, a double ministerial portion. And that will be made clear later on, because the fifth Elijah will have a double ministerial portion.

There is a promise of a manifestation of the Two Olive Trees for the Last Day, in Revelation, chapter 11; and in Zechariah, chapter 4. And already with what I have told you, you can take account and realize what will be the double ministerial portion of the fifth Elijah. That is what is promised for the end time.

Therefore, that is what God will be fulfilling, both for the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ…, where those ministries will come from for the blessing of Israel, for the reconciliation of Israel with God.

Remember that there are three feasts yet to be fulfilled; the first, the second, the third and the fourth have already been fulfilled. We are in the fourth feast of the seven feasts given to Israel.

The fourth feast is the Feast of Pentecost, which began on the Day of Pentecost and still continues under the Dispensation of Grace. About two thousand years have already passed with the Feast of Pentecost, where God has been calling and gathering the wheat, the sons and daughters of God into the Mystical Body of Christ ([JBP] and that Feast ends at the end of the Dispensation of Grace).

Then will come the Feast of Trumpets, of Leviticus, chapter 23, verse 24 to 25; and that feast is for Israel. It is Israel being summoned by God through the ministry of the Two Olive Trees of Zechariah, chapter 4, verses 11 to 14 ([JBP] and he says that… and then it is that he says that Elijah will call Moses with him); and Revelation, chapter 11, verses 1 to 14. That feast is for Israel, that is the fifth feast of the Hebrew feasts.

The sixth feast is the Feast of Atonement, which will also be fulfilled with Israel. And then the Feast of Booths or Feast of Tabernacles, which is the Millennium with the Kingdom of David and Throne of David restored in and with Israel; which will have a world Government, which many nations will join, and there they will have the peace and happiness that the inhabitants of the different nations long for.

[Rev. Jose B. Perez] And it tells us in the book of “THE SEVENTIETH WEEK OF DANIEL,”6 on page 124:

[169] And, remember, what’s these two prophets going to do when they come?

170 This beast, this prince that shall scatter the power of the holy people, what will he do? He will break his covenant with them. After three and a half years, he’ll oust them. Now, people thinks that’s communism. That’s just ’cause you… The Spirit of God hasn’t dealt with you yet. It’s not communism; it’s religion. The Bible said, “It’d be so close till it’d deceive the very Elected if possible.” Jesus said so. See, we’re in the last.

[JBP] And he writes: [WSS] «The mistake of the Jews is to join the Confederation».

171 Now, these two prophets, what will they do? It’s Moses and Elijah that will rise on the scene. They’ll tell those Jews their mistake. And out of that Jewish bunch that’s there now, to be the hundred and forty-four thousand, God will call by these prophets. What is it? The Spirit of Elijah [WSS] «the 5th Elijah», off of this Gentile Church, will just continue right on into that Jewish church, go right on in and call; Moses with him ([JBP] notice, here is where it says that he will call Moses with him). Hallelujah! You see it? [Congregation says, “Amen.”—Ed.] And he will preach the same message of pentecost, to those Jews, that they rejected the Messiah. [Brother Branham knocks on the pulpit six times.] Amen! You see it? [“Amen.”] It’ll be the same pentecostal message, that these Jews will preach right over to them. And they’ll hate those Jews so bad till they’ll kill them. And they were hated by all nations. And in the midst of the week, because that they had raised up a great, powerful hundred and forty-four thousand ([JBP] he writes there: [WSS] «The Year 50 of Jubilee. Message of Pentecost. Elijah and Moses»)… They had the Holy Ghost. And, brother, you talk about doing miracles, they did them. “They stopped the heavens, and it didn’t rain in the days of their prophecy; smote the earth with plagues, as oft they wanted to.” They give plagues and everything else. They’ll give them Romans a hard way to go. But, finally, they’ll be killed. Our God is a terrible God when He’s angered. But remember, that’s over in the seventieth week, and the Church is in Glory, (amen), the Wedding Supper is going on.

[WSS] «the plagues» ([JBP] he writes there).

[Rev. Jose B. Perez] He goes on to say, in this message [Bible study]:

Dr. William Soto Santiago
Sunday, July 17, 1983
Cayey, Puerto Rico

Imagine, when He gave them the feasts through Moses, He told them: “At such and such feast all the people will rejoice.” In other words, He didn’t tell them: “No, no, no… (He didn’t tell them) You will not… There is going to be that feast, but don’t get too excited.” No. He told them: “You, at this feast and at this feast and at this feast, look, you overflow the joy you have; it is to rejoice, to really celebrate.”

Now, when He said: “But on this other (for example, on the day of atonement), there no one will be feasting and rejoicing, but they will be grieving. It is a day to feel anguish, it is a day to mourn.” And so God appointed it to be that way for them; and so it was then for the people.

[Rev. Jose B. Perez] He tells us in the message:

Dr. William Soto Santiago
Sunday, July 18, 1982
Cayey, Puerto Rico

[Page 24] That will be a great day. But before that day arrives, before that day arrives we have to understand that there is a very important moment that precedes that day. Do you know what it is? A few verses before what we read it says, in Leviticus, chapter 23, verse 23 and on it says:

“And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying:

Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, In the seventh month, on the first day of the month, ye shall have a sabbath, and a memorial with trumpets, and an holy convocation.”

In other words, before the Hebrew people have the day of atonement, which is the tenth day of the seventh month, in the same seventh month, on the first [1st] day of the seventh month they have a memorial with trumpets; so the trumpets come first.

In other words, all this is related to the people of Israel: They will have the Feast of Trumpets materialized.

Well, and how are they going to materialize?, how is God going to perform the Feast of Trumpets and then the feast or that commemoration or that solemnity of the Day of Atonement?

Well, for the Trumpets, who sounds the Trumpets, who has to do with the Trumpets for the Hebrew people, is Revelation, chapter 11; with that the Trumpets will materialize to the Hebrew people.

God in His Plan will carry out, fulfill, what was symbolized in the commemoration with the sound of the trumpets. So we will see how the people of Israel walk and how they rejoice at the sound of the Trumpets.

For that, the ministry of Moses and Elijah will carry out, will manifest to carry out that great work. And then, with the sound of the Trumpets, around there, around later on, they will see the Atonement.

They will have fulfilled, that symbolism of the Old Testament will be fulfilled to them; and they will mourn, they will weep, because there will be WEEPING IN THE HOUSE OF DAVID AND IN JERUSALEM, in the inhabitants of Jerusalem.

[Rev. Jose B. Perez] On page 42 of the message “RECOGNIZING YOUR DAY AND ITS MESSAGE,” it says [PAGE 37, paras. 207-215]:

[207] Let’s recognize It, friends, for we are called to gather together for the sounding of the Trumpet. “For the Trumpet of the Lord shall sound, then time shall be no more.”

208 He’s gathered Israel. The three days, in the third day He said He would do it. Twenty-seven hundred years has passed. In that third day He said He would gather them together, and He’s done it. He said He’d make known the way of Life. There you are, just waiting now for the Bride to get out of the way so they can come, the two prophets, Hebrew prophets, that’ll recognize.

209 You remember me standing in Cairo, to go up there ([JBP] And there he narrates that occasion. He goes on saying), when Lewi Pethrus said, “Brother Branham, if they’d ever see that…They believe their prophets.”

210 I said, “It’s a good thing for me.” See how man is? But see the grace of God? I said, “I’ll read this New Testament.” They read It. Lewi sent them, over a million, over there, Brother Lewi Pethrus from Sweden. They would read It, coming up and down there, them Jews; not like this modern bunch of Jews, but in their homeland. And come down, he said, “If this be the Messiah, let us see him do the sign of the prophet, we’ll believe it.”

([JBP] That is why in the Tent Vision being fulfilled, there they are going to recognize him, because of the sign that is going to be shown there).

211 Lewi Pethrus said, “Brother Branham, there is the opportunity. There is the opportunity.” Someone told me that—that it would be an opportunity. I got right, just right down to it.

Some man come over and set there, Brother Arganbright, said, “Brother Branham, that would just alarm Israel! Bring them out before It, and show the sign of the prophet. They’ll believe it.” [WSS] «If he is the Messiah, then let him do the sign of the prophet».

212 I said, “Lord, here I am, ready.” Jumped on the plane; took the money and got me a ticket; stopped in Cairo. Said, “Yeah, I’m ready.”

213 The Holy Spirit said, “This is not your place [WSS] «it is of the 5th Elijah. Rev. 11:3-14». This is not your time.” See, you get ahead of yourself.

[JBP] And he makes an arrow coming from, when he says: [WMB] “This is not your time,” from “time” he makes an arrow up to the Cornerstone, which he draws it with the seven ages, and on the seven ages he writes: [WSS] «7 Trumpets».

[JBP] And above, on the Cornerstone, he writes:[WSS] «a Great Trumpet».

[JBP] And below: [WSS] «The 4th Elijah is not the 5th Elijah».

[213] I thought, “Oh, my! I come way over here; I’m—I’m going to go.”

214 Something said, “Stop right here! Don’t you go that way. Turn on in into India. Don’t go that. Go over to India, but don’t you go here.” ([JBP] He repeated it many times. And he writes: [WSS] «Israel no. Go to India»).

215 Thought, “Why?” ([JBP] That is, by the hangar, from behind), As I walked out behind the hangar, I said, “Lord Jesus, what does this mean?”

Then He made known to me. “No Gentile. These prophets are the one.” It has to be according to the Scripture. “Moses and Elijah has to come.” And, besides, the Bride hasn’t been taken out of the way yet. “And them prophets will return and they’ll do the sign of the prophet.” That’s the Scripture. There it all is fulfilled then, perfectly, Israel as a nation will be born in one day.

[WSS] «Israel = the 144,000 will be the nation that will be born spiritually».

[JBP] And he writes: [WSS] «Moses and Elijah».

[Rev. Jose B. Perez] And in “THE SEVENTIETH WEEK OF DANIEL,”7 it also says that in one day they would receive Him. It says, page 37:

[152] And we have read this New Testament, and we know that when the Messiah cometh, He’ll tell us these things, like the woman at Samaria. We know that Moses said our Messiah would be a prophet. And when you can tell them and show them, by the Scripture,” that which we will get in tonight’s Message, “that they had to be darkened and their hearts cut off, so that the Gentile space could come, that we’d have a time of reconciliation for the Gentiles. And their hearts were hardened just exactly like it was in time of Joseph, and so forth. And then bring those Jews to a place, and call those men from that audience, just like you do these Gentiles here, by that inspiration of the Spirit. Cause,” they said, “if this Jesus, if He is the Messiah, and your words are true, then He is not dead, and He’s alive. And if He is alive, He promised to be in His…the ser-…His servant—servants, His disciples. And if we can see Him do the sign of the prophet, then we will believe that He is Messiah.”

What a perfect thing, exactly right. Then, what would that do? A nation would be born in one day, amongst the leaders. Every one of them would say, “We know it.” When that rabbi says that, that settles it. A nation would be born in one day. Israel would be born in one day.

[JBP] And it goes on to say here (on page 3) [Bible study]:

So every thing, then, you can see that it has its form, it has its… its way of being done.

[Rev. Jose B. Perez] In the message “THE FEAST OF THE TRUMPETS” it tells us, page 41 [PAGE 32, paras. 250-252]:

250 Notice here in Leviticus, 26 now, the order of the Scriptures. After the long period of pentecost, which ends in the calling out of the Bride, the Bride is called out by a servant. The Rejected, next, to be known to Israel, the feast of the Atonement. Notice, here is the same as in Leviticus the 16th chapter, now, when He ordered the feast of pentecost…or the feast of atonement, but in this place they are called…

251 Oh, how perfect! Get it, preachers. See? Don’t miss it, ministers.

252 In this feast of pentecost, which is represented in Leviticus 23:26, or 23 and 24, is a feast of mourning, not a killing, of a feast. The feast was killed… The atonement was killed, rather. The atonement was killed. Leviticus 16, it’s exactly a parallel to it. Only, in this place, it’s called Israel to mourn for their sins [WSS] «for having killed Jesus». How perfect it is, today! It’s not the rekilling of It; which, Moses symbolized, by striking the rock the second time; it didn’t work. Not a killing, of a feast; but a mourning, of rejecting the Atonement.

[Rev. Jose B. Perez] And in this volume: “Israel, son in the wilderness” (this volume has several messages), he tells us on page 24, of that message “ISRAEL BEFORE THE METAL SERPENT”8; he says:

162 Notice there, poor old Moses, after all that time. I want to show you what a man is before God. How Korah and all those…Notice when God told Moses, “Step out of the way, Moses, I’m going to destroy the whole bunch of them, and make out of you a mighty nation.”

163 And Moses threw hisself in the front of God, bridged his way, and said [WSS] «Moses on the breach», “God, take me!” And God could not cross that man, a power of a saint before God. Looky there.

164 Look at old Isaiah, goes up and tells the prophet Hezekiah [WSS] «the king», “Set your house in order, you’re going to die. THUS SAITH THE LORD.”

165 What an embarrassment it was, in a couple hours, to turn back again. The Holy Spirit met him. Cause, Hezekiah turned his face to the wall and wept bitterly, and said, “Lord, I beseech You to consider me. I’ve walked before You, with a perfect heart.” And tears run down his cheek. And God had already sealed his doom, but prayer changed things.

[JBP] And that reminds us of what happened, which he gives as an example, because everything is scriptural. If it happened there…: when he asked for more time, that King Hezekiah, God granted it to him, because there was a reason and an objective for him to ask for more time. The same happened with the Angel of the Lord Jesus Christ: William Soto Santiago; and he tells us that he put… in other words, he told us about this example, when he said that he was like Hezekiah, who asked for more time.9 And what was it that caused God to give him more time? Prayer.

He would say to us: [WSS] “Thank you that you prayed for me,” I don’t know if you remember. So there was something big that God’s people impacted with their prayers; besides his prayer and petition.

In other words, the power of prayer is something extremely important and great for the Lord’s Church. That is why we should be praying to the Lord every day, crying out to the Lord, so that God may soon fulfill in us that glorious event of the Tent Vision; and we also know that around there, in those days, the resurrection will take place. But there must be a people crying out, praying to the Lord; because it says, you see?

[WMB] “…but prayer changed things.”

In the midst of that squeeze, that desperation that the people will have will change things, and everything will be in favor of the sons and daughters of God, because God will transform us.

[165]He said to the prophet, “Go back and tell him.”

[JBP] In other words, you know the story, he was already granted more time. And now, he goes on to say:

166 Look what a warrior Moses was! In his last hours, he got down there with that horrible temper, and finally glorified himself in the stead of God, and God would not permit him… Course, it was all pre-pictured just like the organizations today, Methodist, Baptist, Pentecost, all the rest of them, they’re glorifying themselves.

[JBP] There he writes next to it: [WSS] «Moses and his temper. He smote the rock, and today the denominations do it».

[Rev. Jose B. Perez] In this same volume on page 8 of that message “ISRAEL IN THEIR HOMELAND,”10 he says:

49 Moses was a type of the church organization, which, he was the law. And Moses glorified himself before the people, instead of glorifying God. And God turned from him.

50 And today the church has begin to glorify themselves in the stead of glorifying God. They’re trying to get more members, better churches, better organs and better pews, and a bigger church. God don’t give [Brother Branham snaps his finger—Ed.] that much for that. You ought to be glorifying God.

[JBP] And he writes: [WSS] «Moses = organization, and was condemned to die without entering in his body into the promised land».

[JBP] He goes on to say [“ISRAEL BEFORE THE METAL SERPENT”]11:

167 A few days ago, one of the biggest churches, just because they couldn’t be the only duck in the puddle, they thumbs down on a meeting like that. I said, “I don’t have to have your cooperation. Where the eagles are, the carc-…where the carcass is, the eagles will gather.” And that was right. Yes, sir. You just tell the Truth, God will take care of the rest of it.

[Rev. Jose B. Perez] In the message “MODERN EVENTS ARE MADE CLEAR BY PROPHECY,”12 there it tells us on page 42:

316 You say, “Well, I had the…”

317 This is not the day of Pentecost. The Pentecostal age is past. Pentecost is gone, this is harvest time. See? And the harvest time, the grain; the water’s done been poured out, the grain’s getting ripe. Come into the grain ([JBP] “For wheresoever the body is, there will the eagles be gathered together”13), my dear brother. Hear me, believe me, if you believe me to be a servant of God, let’s each one, in our own way, bow our head in humility and offer the prayer that we—that we know that we should offer, “God, take me as I am.”

318 And brother, sister, I lay myself on the altar tonight, too: God, mold me and make me different. Do something, God, make me in Your fashion.

319 You think it’s easy to stand here and cut the people to pieces like that? It’s a hard thing to do. But woe unto me if I don’t do it.

[JBP] He also writes in the back: [WSS] «It is a hard thing to stand on the pulpit and tear people to pieces, but woe unto me if I don’t do it».

[Rev. Jose B. Perez] And he also tells us something of this in the message “RECOGNIZING YOUR DAY AND ITS MESSAGE”14 on page 8:

[32] People putting their own interpretation upon the Word as It’s been given, trying to make It say something that I did not say, and, not my Word; It’s His Word. “Who shall add to, or take away!”

33 And then, in the vision, we seen these prophets whirl down, as I explained to you, I believe, several Sundays ago. It’ll all be. I said, “Just keep away from it.” As long as I’m fighting it, then God can’t fight it.

[WSS] «As long as I am fighting against this evil, God cannot intervene».

[WSS] «Tell the truth and God will take care of the rest».

[Rev. Jose B. Perez] And we turn to page 25 of this message “ISRAEL BEFORE THE METAL SERPENT.”15 It says:

171 God, after having His poor old servant, Moses…Someone said to me one time, said, “I tell you, that shows God, if you call him God.” Said, “He let his servant down. After…”

172 Moses’ life run in a cycle of forty. He was called, at forty, and refused by his brethren…

[JBP] And we are going to go here, if you allow me, in parts, for a moment, so that you see something; he says:

172 Moses’ life run in a cycle of forty ([JBP] and he writes here in a notebook, and we are going to read). He was called, at forty, and refused by his brethren.

[JBP] And he writes (he doesn’t write it in the book, he writes it in a separate notebook):

[WSS] «Moses and his 40-year cycles.

Birth of Moses into the bosom of a Hebrew family at the right time, type of the Messiah in His First».

«The 1st (first) 40 years. And at the end being rejected by Israel, type of the Messiah’s First Coming being rejected by Israel».

[JBP] He goes on to say here:

[172] Went out on the desert and herded sheep for forty years. When he was eighty, He sent him down to deliver Israel out of Egypt.

[WSS] «The 2nd (second) 40 years. They correspond to the 7 Church ages, to the 6th Dispensation of Grace».

«He meets the God of Israel, who then sends him back to deliver Israel. Type of the 2nd Coming of the Messiah to deliver Israel with Moses and Elijah».

[172] And when he got close to the promised land, he was a hundred and twenty years old. He had the stride of a young man, and his sight never failed him, that’s right, at a hundred and twenty.

[JBP] And here he writes: [WSS] «The 3rd (third and last) 40 years. The return of Moses to his people».

[JBP] That is…, and there he writes: [WSS] «40 + 40 + 40 = 120».

[JBP] And we put that together with this that he also wrote here. It says:

[WSS] «Moses at 80 years old was God’s instrument to deliver the Hebrews, Israel. And at 120 years old they took the nations and cities before crossing the Jordan».

[JBP] Now, we must also take into account —which is there— the beginning or the day that the Holy Spirit fell on Azusa Street (which also reached Chile, all that revival), because that marks something very important. It says:

[WSS] «120 years Moses lived».

«120 jubilees x 50 = 6000», [JBP] that are…, he multiplies it by 50, it gives 6000.

[JBP] That is, he writes:

[WSS] «Moses lived 120 years, then he entered the promised land. The Earth lives 120 Jubilees and then the 7th millennium of rest for the Earth will enter».

[WSS] «After the 49th year is the 50th Year of Jubilee, and 7 years are traveled».

[JBP] That is, after that 49th year, 7 consecutive years are traveled; type and figure of Noah’s 7 days in the ark.

Then brother Branham says there, on page 430 [page 375 in Eng.] of this book, of this version. He says [The Ages, PAGE 424]:

Is this age not like the day in which Noah entered the ark, and the door was shut…?

[JBP] Remember that that seventh age represents the age within the Age of the Cornerstone; because we go through 7 stages, ages, within the Cornerstone.

Is this age not like the day in which Noah entered the ark, and the door was shut, but yet God tarried in judgment seven days? No one was literally turned to God in those silent days ([JBP] the half hour of silence).

[JBP] And he writes:

[WSS] «The closed door 7 days [silence] before the judgment».

«The ½ hour of silence = 7th Seal, 7 Thunders, 7 consecutive stages».

[JBP] And he draws the little pyramid, and writes:[WSS] «7 stages».

[JBP] And inside he writes: «7».

[JBP] And in the other book, here it is on 426 (to read you what he writes there, from what I read to you), he writes: [WSS] «The days of Noah. Genesis 6».

«Door Noah. 7 days of silence», [JBP] and he makes an arrow (makes a pyramid) to the Cornerstone.

[Rev. Jose B. Perez] And that ministry that he would have during that time, which was reflected in brother Branham’s age… Brother Branham departed at the age of 56. And His ministry, the ministry of that Angel that was different from the rest, that began in 1963, that ministry lasted 56 years. And the ministry that God would have for the fulfillment of the restoration of Israel, would begin after the Angel…; in other words, that time would begin to be counted: the same period of time of 56 years, at the end, that ministry would begin in a simple way.

In other words, that date of 1946 is very important for Israel, for Revelation 11, which are the ministries that will be bringing those feasts, the Feast of the Trumpets, which then will be of lamentation in the Feast of Atonement.

It goes on to say, on page 3 of this Bible study:

But you can see…, notice, He speaks to them of a day of sadness, a day to mourn, to grieve; but I don’t remember if in the other feasts there is one where it tells you to grieve or to be sad or to cry. It seems to me that in all the others He tells them to be happy, joyful; and to overflow with joy, and not to feel oppressed or sad, but happy, in that celebration.

If that was in the first dispensation, how will it be in the Millennium and in eternity?

If that was with a people who were rebellious, and rejoiced and enjoyed, how will it be with a simple, humble and obedient people, who will be in the Millennium and in eternity enjoying those feasts?

[Rev. Jose B. Perez] And that time that he places there, there in the book of Quotations… Let’s read it so that you may have it also. On page 148, paragraph 1319, it says:16

1319 – “But, notice, twenty years of Jesus Christ manifested! Not one organization has roused, and not one will; it’ll die like every latter rain move, and everything else. This is the end time…”

[WSS] «20 years of Jesus Christ manifested and not a single organization / yesterday and today», [JBP] brother William writes.

[JBP] And there he draws or he writes… it’s clearer somewhere else, but… we will put that one, but he writes it somewhere else too, that he writes… because he talked about it in 1965, where brother Branham says: [WMB] “This is twenty years and no denomination.”17

And brother William does the subtraction and it’s – it’s 19; about 20 years, and there’s been no denomination.

[WSS] « 1965
– 1946

[JBP] He goes on to say [Bible study]:

Dr. William Soto Santiago
Sunday, June 11, 2000
Cayey, Puerto Rico

And now, we can see that those temples (the one built by Solomon and the one built by Moses) were only the type and figure of the Temple that is in Heaven, and of the spiritual Temple of Christ, which is the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ.

And now Christ is the one who has been building that Temple, of which each one of you and I are also an important part. And which part of the House of God, to which part of the Temple of God do we belong to? To the part of the Most Holy Place.

And where do we worship God, in which part of the House of God? In the part of the Most Holy Place of the House of God.

[Rev. Jose B. Perez] On page 40 of the message “GOD’S ONLY PROVIDED PLACE OF WORSHIP,”18 a part here says, in paragraph:

229 “I have chose to put My Name at the door of the house of My worship, for My family will be gathered in there under the Blood; like it was in Egypt, anything outside died. And in there there’s no leavened bread! There’s no denominational mixture in It anywhere, My house! My children, borned of My genes!” ([JBP] And he writes: [WSS] «Children of the Genes of God, the Word»).

[JBP] And he draws a little picture where he puts the door in the Cornerstone. In the part of the Outer Court he draws a door. In the part of the Holy Place. And on the Cornerstone he draws another door at the entrance of the Most Holy Place.

[JBP] And in the message… “GOD’S ONLY PROVIDED PLACE TO WORSHIP.”19 It says:

251 Then a new creation, not to a denomination but to the Word. You’re a creation of the Word. Because the foundation stone was laid in you before the foundation of the world, predestinated to be sons and daughters of God.

252 And upon this come stone upon stone, in each age, to vindicate that Word that’s coming up, just exactly as Jesus did in His age, which is the Capstone of it all. In Him laid every age. In Jesus was Moses. In Jesus was David. In Jesus was the prophets. Is that right? Look at Joseph, sold for almost thirty pieces of silver, throwed in, supposed to be dead, taken out, went and come to the right hand of Pharaoh. Look, exactly, Jesus was… Joseph was in Jesus.

[JBP] And he writes:[WSS]«All the ages of the Old Testament were in Jesus».

«All the ages of the New Testament are in Jesus (Moses and Elijah)».

[JBP] And on page 39 [PAGE 34]:

261 Notice! Now, then, you are a son of God, in the house of God, you are a part of God’s economy. Romans 8:1, “Then there is no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus.” For they are dead to the world, alive in Him, and living in this present day, making the Word that God has used them, or foreordained them, placing their name in this Bride Book. And when the Waters comes upon that seed that’s in the heart, raises it up to the Bride of Christ. Oh, my! Just perfect as it can be. In every age it’s been that way.

262 The Lutherans, under justification, the feet, raised it like that; Wesley, under sanctification. The Pentecostals under the arms, the works and deeds and so forth, had to be Calvinists… or had to be Arminian, had to be legalists. But now we come to the head, the capstone. “Grace! Grace!” the capstone cried.

[JBP] And he writes: [WSS] «At the Cornerstone are Luther, Wesley, etc.».

[JBP] In other words, there are all the ministries, there are all those prophets there, every time the Crowning Stone, the Cornerstone, has come. In the First Coming there were all those prophets (as He spoke to us there), and in the Second Coming they are all there, in the Second Coming also.

[Continues on page 4 of the Bible study]:

We have seen this MYSTERY OF THE FOUR CHERUBIM IN THE MOST HOLY PLACE in the temple built by King Solomon and in the tabernacle built by the prophet Moses.

In the tabernacle built by the prophet Moses we only see two cherubim, but already in the tabernacle built by King Solomon we see four cherubim: two of gold over the ark of the covenant, over the mercy seat, and then two of olive wood covered with gold, which were giants, and their wings were in the center one with the other, and the other wing reached the wall; and under the wings of the cherubim was the ark of the covenant.

And now we can see where the Ark of the Covenant would be placed in the spiritual Temple of Jesus Christ our Savior. And there will be the Archangel Michael and the Archangel Gabriel, and their Armies will be there protecting that part of the Temple…

[Rev. Jose B. Perez] On page 76 of the book of Quotations, paragraph 653, it says:20

653 – “[91] (…) and he saw, back and forth, through the temple, Seraphims flying. Oh, my! Seraphim, it means “burners,” the word Seraphim means. Which, It is next to the Altar. Actually, the Seraphims is the One who receives the sacrifice, and cleanses the worshipper, and then presents him to God, the Seraphim does ([JBP] and writes above: [WSS] «Seraphim = burners / receive the sacrifice and cleanse the worshiper»). Now, this Seraphims was Angelic Beings. And They are the very next Ones to God, right at the Altar, and They receive the sacrifice. It shows the justice of God, that sin cannot come in His Presence unless it’s been atoned for. See? 92 And these Seraphims, remember, in the seven church ages, how They guarded them Gospels, One on either side! Remember, we took Them back to the garden of Eden [WSS] «Genesis 3:24. Cherubim», with a flaming Sword standing there? They guard the Altar.”

[JBP] And here it says, ending the last sentence [Bible study]:

…and there will be the Two Olive Trees: Moses and Elijah, these ministries will be there, and the ministry of Jesus. And the Ark of the Covenant will be there.

[Rev. Jose B. Perez] Maybe we took a little more time now, but we have to make the most of the time, because time is running; and that is why brother Branham rightly said on several occasions that [WMB] “the teaching messages were long,”21 and he also said, brother William wrote: [WSS] «the Tent, the teaching Message».22

But everything is so simple, that many times one complicates oneself and doesn’t see that God is fulfilling many Scriptures in front of us and we don’t realize it.

May God help us to take advantage of this glorious time, because it is the time of preparation for our adoption, for our transformation; therefore, it is a very, very important time, in which we thank God for that.

We thank God that He has left us this time, because if not, as He told us: [WSS] “we would have had to go through the tribulation”23; but thank God that it will not be like that!, because there is a promise that the Bride will not go through the tribulation.24 The Bride will be transformed, the Bride will be raptured, but we have to be prepared.

As he said that [WSS] “the people wasn’t ready”; and in reality we are still lacking; but God is helping us and will help us to reach the promised land of the new body.
