The path provided by God to enter the promised land

The path provided by God to enter the promised land

Rev. José Benjamín Pérez

Cayey, Puerto Rico

Good evening, greetings to the missionary Miguel Bermudez Marin, and to all the ministers and all the brethren, today, Wednesday, July 27 of this year 2022. We thank our heavenly Father for sending us at this time His Angel Messenger William Soto Santiago, with this glorious Message that prepares the Church-Bride to soon be transformed and raptured.

It tells us in the book of Hebrews, chapter 9, verse 1 and on, it says:

1 Then verily the first covenant had also ordinances of divine service, and a worldly sanctuary.

2 For there was a tabernacle made; the first, wherein was the candlestick, and the table, and the shewbread; which is called the sanctuary.

3 And after the second veil, the tabernacle which is called the Holiest of all;

4 Which had the golden censer, and the ark of the covenant overlaid round about with gold, wherein was the golden pot that had manna, and Aaron’s rod that budded, and the tables of the covenant;

5 And over it the cherubims of glory shadowing the mercyseat; of which we cannot now speak particularly.

6 Now when these things were thus ordained, the priests went always into the first tabernacle, accomplishing the service of God.

7 But into the second went the high priest alone once every year, not without blood, which he offered for himself, and for the errors of the people:

8 The Holy Ghost this signifying, that the way into the holiest of all was not yet made manifest, while as the first tabernacle was yet standing:

[Rev. Jose B. Perez] And in the book of Quotations, on page 140, paragraph 1252, Reverend William Branham, forerunner of the Second Coming of the Lord, with the ministerial spirit of Elijah in his fourth manifestation, tells us:1

1252 – “153 Notice they complained about God’s provided way, was the reason they died. (Now, closely, don’t miss these last few remarks.) They complained! What made them die in the wilderness, they complained about God’s provided way: by a one-man Message, a prophet, a leadership of one man. Tell me when God ever used a group to lead. You won’t find it in the Bible. One man, they… The Word came to Moses! 154 Korah; we all know that he—he got hisself together and complained about God not being just, to do a thing like that, to make one man with the Message… / [155] And remember, Jude speaks the same thing, in the last days. That’s right, “They perished in the gainsaying of Korah.” We also know what happened to Korah and the—and the rest that questioned God’s Word and God’s wisdom of that one-man leadership: every one of them perished.”

[JBP] And he writes: [WSS] «from the way provided by God, they complained about Moses and died».

[Rev. Jose B. Perez] And in this talk, in this teaching, we will give the topic: “THE WAY PROVIDED BY GOD.”

In the message “LABOR PAINS,” it says:

LABOR PAINS
Dr. William Soto Santiago

When God chooses, He chooses contrary to our senses. Our senses tell us: “That can’t be… it had to be this way.” But since the work is by faith, and the Lord said: “It is not with swords, nor with armies; but with my Spirit, saith the Lord ([JBP] Zechariah 4:6).”

[JBP] A little further on, he says (in this same message):

[WSS] (…) God has said that He chooses what is not, to shame (what?) what is. There you have it, that is what God has said. Why? He says: “Lest any flesh should boast before Me.”

Because the tendency of people is always that if God does something through them, and they knew about that matter, then they say: “Well, God had to do this that way, because I knew about it.” But and when God really manifests Himself in simplicity, and you see God working, then you have to see that it is not man, but God; and when you look towards man, then [you say]: “Well, what a tremendous miracle, that through So-and-so, who is good for nothing, God is doing this tremendous thing!” See? God working, and then the glory is given to God.

[Rev. Jose B. Perez] It tells us in the message “THE GREAT WARRIOR, JOSHUA,”2 on page 14, of this booklet, it says:

[34] It’s not how many we can get to join the church; it’s how many we can get in Christ Jesus, to believe and submit themselves, find their position and stand like the Rock of Ages at their post of duty, and ready. Oh, I hope God just settles everybody in here tonight, and just let you know what to do. This great crisis, we’re at Kadesh-Barnea.

[JBP] And remember that Kadesh-Barnea is the seat of judgment. Already, in some parts later on, perhaps, we are going to find that meaning; we have already read it on other occasions.3

35 Look. And the reason they refused it…They journeyed forty years longer in the wilderness because they refused it. What’s kept all these things…I believe the coming of Christ…It’s on my heart; I might as well say it ([JBP] That is, that thought of what he is going to say now came to him). The coming of Christ is past due, past due. You say, “Preacher, what are you talking about?” The Bible. “As it was in the days of Noah, so will it be in the coming of the Son of man.”

[JBP] And it’s also good for you to find that Bible study where we talked about that 40-year generation, and also those cycles of Moses’ life4; and there you can put it together with all of this today and you can get a clearer picture of all of that. It says:

In the days of Noah, God was long suffering, not willing that any should perish. God is long suffering. His coming is past due. We’d have went into the Millennium forty years ago if the people would’ve submitted themselves to God. But instead of that, they pulled back and organized and tightened down (even the Pentecostals and all the rest of them) under the old system, “We’ll have a church, we’ll join the church. And we’ll see if we can’t get more members than them.” And one raised up in the bunch and said, “You know, I believe Jesus is not coming on a white horse; He’s coming on a white cloud.” He goes over here and makes him an organization, gets a few in it.

One say, “You know, I believe we ought to be baptized like this.” And he makes him an organization.

Other one said, “I believe we ought to be baptized forward.” He makes him an organization, the same old worldly system. But God in this last days is calling out of chaos, out of the midst of all of it. Man can’t do it and never will do it. But Christ Himself shall come and shall call. We’ll cross Jordan then. We’ll cross Jordan.

36 Now, look at them. There they was, setting in the wilderness. Here was the evidence back. Why did he believe they could do it? Why, Moses said…I mean, God said to Moses there from the Pillar of Fire, He said, “Now, look. I give you Palestine. It’s yours. I give it to your father Abraham. And I told him that you all would sojourn down there…”

And I want you to notice another thing, how many generations it took to bring it up. Fif—forty, fifty years is a generation, considered in the Bible. Four hundred years, that’ll make eight generations.

[JBP] And he writes: [WSS] «it will not go beyond this generation».

[JBP] And at the top and on the side he also draws a pyramid with the seven stages and the number 8 on the Cornerstone; he writes: [WSS] «8».

Notice, then they… The first thing you know, they… Moses come up, and they backslid, went away another forty years. They come up to Palestine, another forty years: ten generations, meaning the ten tribes, and the half tribes, of course, to split time, to take it over. Perfectly, how they got all the words inspired, not one word but what’s inspired in the Bible from Genesis to Revelations.

37 Then they come to Kadesh, where they could be judged. Now, the church come to Kadesh, where they could be judged.

[JBP] And we have reached Kadesh where we can be judged. Before we couldn’t be.

Then the churches all set and counseled here a few years ago, “Could we consider this baptism of the Holy Spirit? Could we consider the gifts of the Spirit returning to the church? I’ll tell you what it would do; our document’s drawed up like this. We cannot move to it.”

The next one said, “We cannot receive it.”

Others said, “We cannot receive it.”

But there was some people said—went over into the promised land and come back with the evidence of it, that healing was right, that the Holy Ghost is right, that the powers of God is right. And the very promised land we’re promised is right. Yes, sir.

[JBP] And he writes below: [WSS] «Gene – Generation product of the genes».

38 Now, when Joshua was over there walking around after he crossed over Jordan, then begin to eat some of the old corn… I can imagine Joshua that morning, after having this great vision of the Lord saying, “I’ll be with you. Just as I was with Moses, so will I be with you.” Called him out one night and said, “Now, look, Joshua,” give him a vision, said, “Now My servant Moses is dead. Rise and go over this Jordan, thou and all the host of Israel. And the Lord thy God will be with thee. No man shall stand before thee all the days of your life. As I was with Moses, so will I be with you. Only be good courageous, and do not be discouraged; just keep moving on, I will be with you. Every place you set the soles of your feet is a possession for you.”

[Rev. Jose B. Perez] And that reminds us of that occasion in which, by a vision or a dream, faith was given to him, that is, as brother William writes there… For that which Gideon received on that occasion… Let’s turn to the book of Judges, chapter 7, verse 13, it says:

13 And when Gideon was come, behold, there was a man that told a dream unto his fellow, and said, Behold, I dreamed a dream, and, lo, a cake of barley bread tumbled into the host of Midian, and came unto a tent, and smote it that it fell, and overturned it, that the tent lay along.

[JBP] And he writes next to it: [WSS] «One cake = the Sword».

[Rev. Jose B. Perez] And that Sword, remember it is the Word; which, in:

Joshua, chapter 5, verse 13:

13 And it came to pass, when Joshua was by Jericho, that he lifted up his eyes and looked, and, behold, there stood a man over against him with his sword drawn in his hand: and Joshua went unto him, and said unto him, Art thou for us, or for our adversaries?

14 And he said, Nay; but as captain of the host of the Lord am I now come. And Joshua fell on his face to the earth, and did worship, and said unto him, What saith my Lord unto his servant?

15 And the captain of the Lord’s host said unto Joshua, Loose thy shoe from off thy foot; for the place whereon thou standest is holy. And Joshua did so.

[Rev. Jose B. Perez] And look how that cake there was represented or brother William writes there that it represents that Sword. And how that cake, there on that occasion, in that dream, it says that:

[Judges 7]

13 …and overturned it, that the tent lay along.

14 And his fellow answered and said [JBP], This is nothing else save the sword of Gideon the son of Joash, a man of Israel: for into his hand hath God delivered Midian, and all the host.

15 And it was so, when Gideon heard the telling of the dream, and the interpretation thereof, that he worshipped, and returned into the host of Israel, and said, Arise; for the Lord hath delivered into your hand the host of Midian.

[JBP] And brother William writes above:

[WSS] «The meaning of the dream encouraged Gideon and gave him faith to obtain the victory».

[Rev. Jose B. Perez] That is what happened there in that case when (where we are reading)…, he says:

[WMB] Called him out one night…

[JBP] A little further back it says, to repeat it:

38 Now, when Joshua was over there walking around after he crossed over Jordan, then begin to eat some of the old corn… I can imagine Joshua that morning, after having this great vision of the Lord saying, “I’ll be with you. Just as I was with Moses, so will I be with you.” Called him out one night…

[Rev. Jose B. Perez] And that… I also had that experience of that calling one night.

[38] Called him out one night and said, “Now, look, Joshua,” give him a vision, said, “Now My servant Moses is dead.

Footprints means possession, brother. What the Church needs tonight is some more footprints over here on this land. Don’t hang around Jordan too long. Let’s get out of here and see what we got. All right.

Every time that he made a footprint, every time he footprinted on, it was a possession. I can see Joshua, after he had the vision; he said, “Now, gather all Israel and stand down by the Jordan. Sanctify yourselves, wash your clothes, and come down to its banks in the morning, I’ll show you what the glory of God is.” Amen.

[JBP] See? There was that time afterwards, that those requirements had to be met in order to see the glory of God.

Amen. He had a vision. God told him in His Word, the Word said, “I’ve give you the land. It’s yours. It’s your possession.”

39 Now, why did he…Why didn’t he go over there and clean out all the—all the Philistines and so forth? And I’d say, “Come on.” You got something to do too ([JBP] says brother Branham there). God just don’t poke things down your neck. You’ve got to believe it; you’ve got to do some fighting.

As Peter Cartwright said to the drunkard that day, many of you has read his, told him, said, “What are you going to do here?”

Said, “I’m going to hold a meeting.” [JBP]Peter is talking to that drunkard that day).

Said, “Who told you?” ([JBP] the drunkard answered).

Said, “The Lord.”

Said, “You got to whip me first.”

Said, “Well, if that’s my next job, all right.” Undone his coat, beat him up, got on top of him, get beat him in the face, said, “I must fight if I should reign, increase my courage, Lord.” Beat the guy up. Said ([JBP] and he asks him a question), “You got enough?”

Said, “Yep.” Shook his hand, come on back and got saved.

That’s what we need. You got to do some fighting, not with your fists, but with the power of God with your testimony. That’s how you overcome, by the Blood of the Lamb and your testimony. Tell the devil he’s got no strings tied to you. “You’ve put this disease on me, but Jesus Christ delivered me from it. He promised it to me.”

40 Now, look. He said, “I’ll send you a sign. There’ll be a Pillar of Fire will lead you all the way. You just follow it; it’ll take you.” That’s right. And they got right up there ([JBP] that is, they reached up to that point, to the Jordan), and the Pillar of Fire turned in to be a Man. He said, “I’m the Captain of the host of the Lord. ([JBP] that is what I read to you, the Scripture of Joshua there)” Said, “We’ve come this far. Now let’s go on.”

Now, there was all that great land before them, all military men. And now the Captain of the host of the Lord, He was a military Man too. So He said, “Now, Joshua, now don’t you fear. I’ll be with you, and no man can stand before you all the days of your life.”

Oh, my. Joshua said, “Now, we’re going to see what the land looks like.” So he sent out some spies. They went, and the harlot Rahab hid them through the night. I want you to notice another thing. Watch what taken place when they were up there, harlot Rahab’s house.

Harlot Rahab, she hid them under this flax on top of her roof, sent the men out of the gates, and come back and said, “Look.” Said…Now, watch how God’s a moving, to take this encouragement back to Joshua. He said, “All this country fainteth because of you.” Said, “We have heard what the Lord has done for you.” Amen. I just love that. Don’t you worry. God’s got a good time coming by and by.

“All the country is afraid of you. When we heard that the Lord dried up the Red Sea and let you cross, drowned Pharaoh’s army, give you food by manna out in the wilderness, and put a brass serpent up for an atonement. He done all these things for you. And I knowed what you done destroyed the Og, and—and the other kings. I seen what you did, utterly destroyed. And when we heard this and you were headed our way, we just fainted. There’s no more courage left in no one.”

41 When they come back and told that to Joshua, I can imagine whirling that sword, say, “Glory to God, He’s before us.” Amen. What made them faint? ([JBP] That is, to that town, where they went, the spies) What made them so fainty when they were way bigger? “Why,” they said, “we look like grasshoppers up beside of them.” How could they faint? They were setting behind big walls with big slings and rocks and everything, and spears and everything, outnumbered them by the thousands times thousands and thousands, they outnumbered them. Certainly they could. They were all united together. “Why can’t we run that bunch, little handful of little bitty, old tiny scrubby looking men with old sickle bars and things to fight with? They’re not even military men at all, the only thing they are, walking along there with little old sandals on, not warriors, they’re campers and dwellers and fanatics and holy-rollers. Well, why can’t we… Standing down on the banks and shouting and screaming, bringing disgrace… Well, why can’t we armor ourself and go against them?” ([JBP] Those in that city said).

But there was nothing in their hearts. Why? God said, “I’ll send My fear before you.” Amen. There it is. “I’ll send My fear before, for you’re My people, My covenant people. I’ve called you by election. I have chosen you. I have put you into the body and you’re circumcised. Now you’re believers. And you go on; I’m with you. It’s all yours.”

42 Now, let’s liken that today; that Palestine belonged to Israel. That was their dwelling place. You see it? That was their dwelling place, for Israel to dwell in. This body is yours. God gave it to you. It’s your dwelling place. God wanted you to have it. But the devil is moved in, cancer, tuberculosis, diseases. You say, “I’ll take him out. I’ll do this. I’ll do that.” But you know what? Something’s happened. That Pillar of Fire has come among us, the Captain of the host of the Lord. And every devil that’s got the people bound tonight is scared to death. Sure they are. They’re fainting. Why? They hear…Why did—why did these Philistines and so forth faint? Why did Jericho fainting? Because the people that had the promise was on the road to come in. Amen.

The one that’s got the promise, the people, the covenant people, the promised people that’s in Jesus Christ has got a promise even at the last days, that God will raise this body up and make it perfect. And we’ve got the attributes of it now. So they’re scared. Their father, the devil is defeated at Calvary. And the Captain ([JBP] and he writes): [WSS] «Christ» of the host of the Lord has moved in in the form of the Holy Ghost.

([JBP] And there he sings a hymn, a little song):

Faith in the Father, faith in the Son,

Faith in the Holy Ghost, three in the One;

Demons will tremble, and sinners awake;

Faith in Jehovah will anything shake.

43 Hallelujah. Devils are on the move, for Jesus Christ the Chief Captain, said, “In My Name they shall cast out devils.” They failed to get it forty years ago, but we’re coming in now, possessing the land. The same Pillar of Fire, the same Chief Captain is a leading the host of the Lord. It’s your land. God promised to prosper you in health. He gave you that body. It’s yours by possession. The devil is trying to take it over. He hasn’t got the authority to do it. He’s trembling tonight. Hallelujah. Great whirl of God’s power moving in the building, Satan’s a trembling. Oh, what if they’d only have faith. His heart’s about gone; it’s melted in him. Why? “Oh,” you say, “well, the doctor said I…” Yeah, but they realize that the host of the Lord is moving in now. That’s right. No matter how high he’s walled it. He may have walled it out of the sight of the doctor, but he hasn’t walled out of the sight of God. He might be a great big bluff to the medical science, but he ain’t a big bluff to God. Hallelujah.

44 Joshua, the saviour. “Joshua” means “saviour.” He’s moving in. Don’t be troubled. Believe. Here tonight to take over. Amen. How I love that. I believe the Pillar of Fire is with us tonight. The Captain of the host of the Lord is here tonight. The sword is pulled. He may be afraid of that medical sign; he may not be afraid of it, rather. ’Cause they’ve never been able by…They’re trying hard, and I hope they get it, something to cure cancer, something to do these things with. But so far the devil thinks he’s got the bluff on them. But when the sword of Christ comes down, he will never withstand that. He will chop every cancer loose; He will raise up the blind and the afflicted. He’s a doing it everywhere.

And He’s here tonight, the great supernatural Lord Jesus Christ, the great I AM, the great Alpha, Omega, the Beginning and the End. Why? The land belongs to us. “All that comes to me I’ll give him Everlasting Life and will raise him up at the last day.” John 6:37:40 Amen. We got the evidence of it here. People who were laying last week dying, where Mayos’ and so forth, had turned them away, could never be well, didn’t know what to do with, and tonight are perfectly normal and well: the evidence. The land is ours. Hallelujah. Let’s get it. Amen. Let’s take over.

[JBP] And you who are listening to me tonight: Have faith in God! Have faith in the promised land! Have faith! If you have any sickness, have faith that God will heal you. And also have faith that you will be transformed. Believe with all your heart that you are a chosen one, and that you have entered this path to arrive, to get to the promised land of the new body. It is a promise! And it is yours, and it is mine.

God promised it to us. Belongs to you; it belongs to me. It’s your possession if you’ll pull the sword. This is it. Walk in and tear down the walls. Hallelujah.

The fight is on, O Christian soldier…

[Rev. Jose B. Perez] And he goes on to say here, in this excerpt, in the message, it says:

TIME OF SEPARATION TO RECEIVE THE PROMISE
Dr. William Soto Santiago
Sunday, December 1, 1974
Ponce, Puerto Rico

On the one hand it will be painful, because if we have the sense of affection and these things dominating our lives, well, we are going to suffer a lot; but if the only sense that we have working in our life is the sense of faith, the sense of the soul, oh, each one says: “I stay with the Word; if dad or mom or my pastor doesn’t stay with the Word, I stay with the Word and I put aside my feelings; I still love them, yes, and he is my brother and when he needs me here I am; but as far as the Word is concerned, I stay with the Word.”

[Rev. Jose B. Perez] In the message “AT KADESH-BARNEA,”5 it says (page 14):

120 Let me tell you something. Let this nation not only call one hour, a certain day, set aside for a prayer meeting, where about one percent of one thousand will try to attend it. You let this whole nation turn to God, and break up every bootleg joint, tear down every distillery, and break up every booze-racket place, and all the things; and take these little old dirty shorts off of women, and make it a penitentiary offense to wear them on the street; and clean up the home, and the house, and the church; and put preachers behind the pulpit, instead of some kind of ‘lectioneers; cause an old-fashion revival to come, where men and women will call out to God, we’ll have a revival that’ll sweep the land, and it’s the best defense we’ve ever had. It’s the only thing in the world that’ll stop the atomic bomb ([JBP] and he writes): [WSS] «to stop the divine judgment». You have a bomb shelter, under His wing. Amen. That is right. Notice.

[JBP] And he writes on the side: [WSS] «the Wings». [JBP] Remember that the wings are: The ministries of Moses and Elijah.

121 The Kadesh-barnea come to the place where there had to be a judgment. And Moses chose twelve, one out of each tribe, and he sent them over to spy out the land.

122 When they come back, I wish you would notice what a report! “Oh,” they said, “it’s a goodly land. Oh, it’s a wonderful land. It’s flowing with milk and honey.”

123 “But,” ten of them said, “we can’t take it. We can’t take it. Oh,” said, “we met the—the Amorites, the Midianites, and—and the Canaanites, and all that. Why, we looked like grasshoppers, aside of them. They are great big fellows.

[Rev. Jose B. Perez] He said in the… in the book of Quotations, in 1308, that… It says (mid-paragraph):6

1308 – “[174] When the Word test came, when they went over and seen the opposition so great, the greatest opposition they ever seen, the Amalekites was—was ten times their size.”

[JBP] And he writes: [WSS] «10 times bigger the Amalekites than the Hebrews, and as a nation and as an individual». [JBP] In other words, they were true giants.

[Continues reading of the message “AT KADESH-BARNEA”]

[123] They are great big fellows. And their cities are all walled in, and there’s no way for us to ever get in. Oh, our hearts are fainting within us. We can’t take it.” And, the popular vote of the people, the people received it.

124 But there stood two there, one named Caleb, and one named Joshua [WSS] «Elijah – Moses», who brought back a cluster of grapes, that two men had to pack it. Caleb said, “Quieten yourselves, before the prophet. Quieten yourself.” [Brother Branham knocks on the pulpit four times—Ed.] He said, “We are well able to take it. Let’s go get it, immediately!”

[JBP] And he writes: [WSS] «Wine = stimulus by revelation».

[124] Let’s go get it, immediately!”

125 What we need in this hour is a man to challenge the promise of God before the people. God promised the pouring out of the pentecostal blessing in the last days

[JBP] And that is a reflection, type and figure, of all that God will be doing in our time; because he writes: [WSS] «third exodus», and on the opposite side he makes a drawing of a pyramid, that is, the Age of the Cornerstone.

[125] I mean a real pentecostal pour out, and it’s time for it to come. Another Kadesh-barnea has arrived. Yes, sir.

[JBP] And he writes below:

[WSS] «Kadesh-Barnea = Thorne of Judgment».

[WSS] «Smitten Rock = the 2nd Coming of Christ».

126 They said, “We can well do it. Sure, we can do it.” What was it? Those cowardly church members was looking to what they could see with their eyes, but Caleb and Joshua ([JBP] and he writes again): [WSS] «Moses and Elijah». was looking to God’s promise. I don’t care how much opposition they had, how big the giants looked, how big the fences looked, they were looking to God’s promise.

127 And every a man and woman tonight, that wants to go on with God, don’t pay any attention what the world says, whether we can or whether we can’t; God promised it, and that settles it. “God said so!” I like that. When God says so, that settles it forever.

128 I tell you, tonight. We’ve had a whole lot of false pretense. We’ve had a lot of make-up belief. We’ve had a lot of stuff that went on for a show. Certainly. The devil always throws his forerunners at you, as a counterfeit to scare the people. We’ve had a false Pentecost. We’ve had a false rain. We’ve had a false this and that.

129 But in the midst of every bit of it, there’s a genuine baptism of the Holy Spirit. There’s a genuine pentecostal blessing, again. There’s a genuine Divine healing. There’s a genuine Spirit. There’s a genuine people. And it’s time for the march. That’s right.

[JBP] And he draws a pyramid, the seventh age, and at the top the Cornerstone. He writes: [WSS] «7» in the seventh age; and the eighth [WSS] «8» in the Age of the Cornerstone.

130 The people, at the hour of decision now! You’ve got to make up your mind. This church has got to make up its mind. Every man comes to a place where there’s a crucial hour. There was a crucial time come where you had to make up your mind. A judgment seat, you was at. You had to say, “I am guilty,” or, “I am not guilty.” When you’re standing before the judge, you’ve got to make up your mind.

[Rev. Jose B. Perez] And one brings it to today: And tonight we can say, and in every place you can say: “This place, tonight: this church here, of this place, has to make a decision.”

131 And, tonight, the Branham Tabernacle has got to make up its mind. We’re either going to go on or go back. That’s right. You’re going back to garlic and—and leek, and stuff of Egypt, or you’re going on to Angels’ food, to the promised land where God made a promise. We’re going on to an old-fashion, Holy Ghost revival; or you’ll be wish-washy, packing around, and pecking like a robin on an apple, until the day you die ([JBP] And he writes): [WSS] «Apples, cut up, bitten». You’ve got to make your decision. You can’t go on. “Why halt ye between two opinions?” said Elijah. “God be God, serve Him. If He’s not God, then don’t serve Him.” 1 Kings 18:21

132 If the real experience of God is what takes the sin out of a man’s heart, and not belonging to a church, or belonging to a clan, or belonging to an organization, which I have nothing to say against. Those things are all right. If…

133 Education won’t bring it. We’ve tried many times and got leaking cisterns out it. We thought, one time, when we had the Big Four,7 that would settle all the wars. It didn’t settle the wars. It had a leak in it. We thought, one time, that the educational program would save the whole world. And we educated, and what have we got? A bunch of educated atheists.

[Rev. Jose B. Perez] See? When he…, a little while ago we read that he wrote that God didn’t command (at that time when He told His disciples): “Go and make schools, libraries, hospitals.” He commanded to preach the Gospel.8 And in another place he says (I don’t have that one at hand) something about [WSS] “that is the worst thing that man has invented.” Because they use the same education, which is brought by the devil himself… Because all that, all that worldly education and all those things of this Earth is…, belong to him; for Knowledge and Education is the Divine Program relevant to the time in which one is allotted to live. That is the perfect education, that is the education that God wants for His children.

That is why in the Millennium and in eternity, where Habakkuk says [2:14]: “The Earth will be filled with the knowledge of the glory of God.” And the human being many times doesn’t realize that he uses that education to fight, instead of using it for the support of the day to day, to know and learn how to develop oneself on this planet Earth; because we are here… we already know the purpose for which we have passed through this Earth; and we use that education to look for all the positive part, to be able to develop ourselves, to be able to work in the Work, to have the support of our family, and so on.

But many use that education to attack the Divine Program, to attack the instruments of God; and they don’t realize that they are being used as teachers of the evil one to take the education for evil, to attack the Divine Program.

[133] …and what have we got? A bunch of educated atheists. That’s exactly right. We thought that the societies would one time save the world. And we’ve come to find out that the most vilest criminals we have come out of their so-called societies. Education and society will not save the world.

[Rev. Jose B. Perez] And what one has to do is to look for the positive part of all that and that it is more of a blessing for the Divine Program.

It continues saying at the bottom, in this same message “AT KADESH BARNEA” (I am on page 16):

138 You’ve got a decision to make. You’re at Kadesh, you see; see, can’t stand much longer. Why you halting between two opinions? Why isn’t the church on fire? Why isn’t the place packed out with people? Why isn’t great signs and wonders done? Don’t lay it onto the pastor. It’s you. We got a mixed multitude; one pulling one way, and one the other.

[JBP] A little further down says:

[138] And we’ve, each one, got to give an account for our own sins, and answer at the Day of Judgment. We’re in Kadesh-barnea!

[Rev. Jose B. Perez] Remember that the elect will not be judged. And if he is a chosen one, we have already seen there how the apostle Paul, we have seen in previous occasions where the apostle Paul speaks that if he is a chosen one then he has to fix all that; and if not, he will go through fire.9 In other words, the fire will give the proof of that work. But if he is a chosen one, he will suffer; he will not be lost, but he will go through certain tests.

But there is a time that for the sixth dimension, Paradise, it was shown to Reverend William Branham that there will come a judgment for those who are there; and there will also come a judgment for those who are here. In other words, when it is said that the Church will not go through the judgment, it would be the Judgment of the White Throne; but we will go through that stage; as those of the sixth dimension will go through it there, here it will be the same way; and everything will be in simplicity. And there we will know who will return from there, from the sixth dimension, in the resurrection; and we will also know here who will be transformed.

139 And God’s Word said we can take it. God’s Word said we can have a revival. God’s Word said that He would raise up in the last days, all these here signs and wonders. And He’s done it. Every man stand in his place, but the thing we’ve got to do is get together and start the revival. What can we do? Your decision might come now…

[JBP] Look at the teaching here too, which tells us:

140 When you was going with your wife, my brother, you had to make a decision whether you was going to get married or not. You had to make a decision. It might come, some saying this way, “You must not get married.” Some say, “Well, you better get married.” One say, “Well, you’re happier if you’re married.” Another say, “You’re cutting your throat.” All these different things. You had to make the decision. That’s right. The judgments, of Kadesh-barnea, come for you [WSS] «the judgments».

141 “Maybe some of you here just ought to be divorced.” There has got to be a time, sometime, when differences come to the family. It has to be ironed out, some way. You have to make a decision. Let me tell you, my brother, tonight, the decision to make, is, you and your wife put your arms around one another, if you’ll bow before God, and get on your knees, and make a decision that you’ll serve Jesus Christ, and Him only, and the divorce courts will be drained dry. Right! No talk with your lawyer is needed. A talk with your Saviour is needed. That’s right. The lawyer might give you advice, but the Saviour can save you. The lawyer might give you some psychology, some of his psychic studies, ([JBP] he in one part says… a long time ago, years ago, he said: [WSS] “Psychology, philosophy and all that junk”10), but Jesus Christ can give you His grace and love. It’ll take the place of all of it.

[Rev. Jose B. Perez] And this…, I say that with all due respect; it was something he commented about all that, about all that teaching. I am not against those who study psychology and all those things. I say again that all this, if one channels it correctly —for the Work of God and also for the support of the family—, then one takes advantage of it.

But if it is to fight against God’s Work, God’s Program, then it is better not to do so. You see? It will do you more harm than good to know all this knowledge of all these things… not only psychology and all these things.

It goes on saying here (so as not to read so much)…, but all this is very beneficial for all of us. We are going to continue right there; he says:

[141] …but Jesus Christ can give you His grace and love. It’ll take the place of all of it.

142 If you’re sick tonight, you’ve got to make a decision, whether you’re going to accept Christ as your healer, or not. You can’t wishy-washy, dillydally with it. You’ve got to say, “I believe Him,” or, “I don’t believe Him.” “I’m going to be well,” or, “I can’t. I ain’t got faith enough to be well.” You’ve got to make your decision.

143 If you’re a sinner, tonight, you got to make your decision. You’re at Kadesh-barnea. You’re at the place of the judgment seat.

144 What was those little springs? Are churches ([JBP] and he writes): [WSS] «The judgments in the House of God», representing, that went out, where the judgment begin at the house of God. Jesus said so. The—the Bible said so. Judgment begins at the house of God.11 We’re in the house of God, tonight, and you’ve got to make your decision.

145 You’ve got to make your decision, whether you’ll come to Christ, or whether you’ll turn Him down tonight. Every sinner in here has got to make that decision right now.

146 You’ll either go out of that door, a better man or woman than what you come in, or you’ll go out worse than you was when you come in. You can’t stand mediocre tonight. You’ve got to make it.

147 This was on my heart, now it’s on…It was on my heart, now it’s on your hand ([JBP] once it is spoken, the responsibility is already of the person). You’ve got to make your decision. And you got to make a decision. You’ve been maybe a good church member. Maybe you’ve always longed that you wanted more of God. You might wanted to do something for God. Remember, you’re only mortal once, and that one time is the only time you’re going to be mortal. And this may be the time that you’ve got to make your decision. You’re either going to move up with God, or stay where you’re at. ([JBP] And that is the topic we were reading: “TIME OF SEPARATION TO RECEIVE THE PROMISE”).

148 You might have to make your decision tonight. If it is, I pray that you’ll throw everything loose. Remember, I don’t care what it is, if it’s job, if it’s family, if it’s loved ones, if it’s associates, if it’s your partners, or whoever it is, turn loose of everything. “He that even puts his hand on the plow, and even turns to look back, is not worthy of the plowing.”12 That’s right. “Lay aside every weight and the sin does so easily beset you.13 ([JBP] and he writes):[WSS] «In the House of God — The time to draw near to God, how do you draw near?, or to separate forever, how do you separate? It is when you are in the body here». What is that? “Lay aside every weight, and the unbelief that does so easily beset you, and run this race with patience, that’s set before you.”

[Rev. Jose B. Perez] A little further ahead:

154 Someone else, make your decision? “I now will serve Christ. I’ve come to the end. I’ve come to the crisis. This is the hour. I’m at Kadesh-barnea. God is standing in my heart. Am I able to go over? Can I forsake my friend? Can I forsake my worldly associate? Can I cross over the border yonder, into the promised land where God promised? Will I be a Caleb, will I be a Joshua, in the history of time. Will I be a Caleb or a Joshua in the books of God? Or, will I, tonight, shrink back with my cowardly, yellow disposition, and move back?” God, take that away from every man and woman, and make them a decision, make her for Christ tonight.

[Rev. Jose B. Perez] It goes on to say here in the message “TIME OF SEPARATION TO RECEIVE THE PROMISE” (where I left off, it says):

[WSS] That was the attitude there, of all the children of God who received what God promised them; and that will always be the attitude of the true believers. It is time of separation to receive the promise of God for this time, which is the fullness of the Holy Spirit.

When we see this happen, let us know that God had already revealed it to us by His Word. And remember that, out of more than 500 that there were at the time the Lord ascended, the majority were separated from the small group, and only 120 remained there firm with the Word; and 380 or more went out of the Word, they didn’t want to fulfill the requirements, the conditions that were there, and each one wanted to interpret the Word in his own way.

But God has only one way to make His Word known to us…

[Rev. Jose B. Perez] And on page 122, paragraph 1094, it says [Quotations]:14

1094 – “[22] I trust that God will reveal this. And each time, if you who take the tapes and listen, and I hope and trust that—that you have had a spiritual understanding of what that God has been trying to get over to the Church without saying it right out. See? It’s a thing, sometime, we have to say things in such a way that it might thin down, it might bring some to go out, some to leave, and some to—to—to ponder over. But that’s done purposely. It must be done that way.

23 Then it might be that some would say, ‘You mean God would purposely do a thing like that?’ He certainly did. He does yet.

24 He said one day, when He had thousands around Him, He said, ‘Except you eat of the Flesh of the Son of God, or Son of man, and drink His Blood, you have no Life in you.’

25 What kind of a statement do you think that a medical doctor or a nurse, or any fine intellectual person would think of a statement like that, for a Man that had a ministry like He had? Why, he would say, ‘Eat the flesh? That’s cannibal! To drink human blood? It’s a vampire! In other words, He wants us to be cannibals and vampires.’ And the whole audience walked away from Him.”

[Rev. Jose B. Perez] And remember brother Branham once told Billy… I think we read that in a Bible study15 he said to Billy: [WMB] “Billy, everything is fine, the Message is fine, the age we’re in is fine ([JBP] something like that, around that), everything, it’s all fine; but I see there’s something wrong, and that is that there’s a lot of people following the Message”; and that was said by the fourth Elijah, Reverend William Branham.

And notice how he was also talking about something that Jesus had also said, where He said those certain things that many left His side, and those who had to stay there, stayed there. The same happened in those days of the upper room, where 500 people came down from the group.

In other words, what was being spoken there, don’t believe that those who left liked it; surely what Peter was speaking there, many of them, either because of what he was speaking, didn’t believe, or didn’t believe that all that Peter was bringing was through the Spirit of God, the guidance of God, the teaching that Jesus had already told Peter how to do things; in other words, there were different reasons why, all of them who left, had to leave; in other words, they had that reason to leave.

Here on this occasion He tells us… He was speaking in that detail, of that occasion where He says that: “Whosoever eateth not my flesh, and drinketh not my blood, hath not life abiding in him.”16 It goes on saying:

1094 – “[25] …or a Man that had a ministry like He had? Why, he would say, ‘Eat the flesh? That’s cannibal! To drink human blood? It’s a vampire! In other words, He wants us to be cannibals and vampires.’ And the whole audience walked away from Him.

26 And there was a ministerial association with Him, of seventy, that had been chosen. And He turned to them, and He said, ‘What will you think when you see the Son of man…?’”

[JBP] See? Those… a few of them were already gone. And now with these 70, He tells them something a little bit deeper.

1094 – “[26] ‘What will you think when you see the Son of man ascending up from where He came from?’ Now, He didn’t explain that. He never explained how; Paul did that later on ([JBP] and he writes): [WSS] «Jesus did not explain it, Paul explained it later». He just said It. See? And then when this, He said, “What will you say,” to these ministers, “when you see the Son of man ascending up from where He come from?’

27 No doubt them men said, ‘Now, just a moment. Oh, we eat with Him. We fish with Him. We sleep with Him. We—we know where He was born. We seen the cradle that He—He was rocked in. And how does this Man… This is a hard saying.’

28 And the Bible said, ‘They didn’t walk with Him anymore.’ They left Him.

29 Then He had twelve left. He had chose twelve, and one of them was a devil, He said. So He turned to them. And there’s no one could explain what He had just said. ‘How are they going to eat His Flesh and drink His Blood? And how did He come down, when He was born right here on earth?’ See? They couldn’t understand It. And then He turned to the apostles, and He said, “Do you want to go also?”

30 And that’s when Apostle Peter made that great statement, ‘Lord, to whom would we go?’ See? ‘For we are satisfied. We know a surely that You, and You alone, have the Word of Life of this hour. ([JBP] and he writes): [WSS] «yesterday and today»’ See? ‘And we are satisfied of that.’ See, they could not explain It. They… You can’t explain faith. It’s something that you believe, and it’s so solid that there is nothing else will take its place.

You can’t explain faith. It’s something that you believe, and it’s so solid that there is nothing else will take its place. Therefore, they knowed that the Word that was written for that age that they were living in, the Messianic age, that He fit that place exactly. And what could they do to go back in them cold, formal churches that they had come out of? Said, ‘Where would we go to?’ See? ‘We are fully persuaded that You have the Word of Life.’ See? And they—they couldn’t explain It, but they believed It. See?

31 And Jesus said that to weed down His crowd, see, till He could get the group together. And out of all those people, they, only eleven of them then understood actually Who He was. They knowed that He was God, and God alone. Now, the…

32 My subject this morning is to reveal, or, unveil that God.

33 God has always, in every age, has hid behind a veil, all ages, but He’s been God all the time. See? But He’s kept Hisself hid from the world, and reveals Hisself to His Elected, like the apostles at that day…”

[JBP] And he writes:

[WSS] «God has always hidden behind a veil».

[WSS] «to diminish the group».

[WSS] «He fulfilled the Word written for the Messianic Age».

[Rev. Jose B. Perez] And it goes on to say here in another excerpt:

THE REVIVAL OF THE HOLY SPIRIT
Dr. William Soto Santiago
Thursday, March 18, 1976
Fajardo, Puerto Rico

We are in an awakening to see what we have to see, because He is coming to take us; and to take us He has to incarnate in us, because without the Word we can’t go in the rapture. To go in the rapture we have to have the Word, and that is why He has to come in the form of the Word.

So, we see that it is something great and glorious that is happening; and the great thing, the great thing is the simplicity. So simple. Everything is moving as it was in past times, it is moving in the same way; and only the chosen ones, the predestined ones, are the ones who will realize what is happening; because it enters directly into the interior of the elect, because the revival is within the chosen one.

Afterwards, whatever has to come – or whatever has to come that is visible to the public, that will come…

[Rev. Jose B. Perez] See? That is what we have been saying, that is what we have been talking about: first it is here inside: in the soul, in the heart, in that little wooden room, which is the soul of each individual; that is where God is working, that is where this revival is taking place, this such great awakening, this revival that burns us inside; that we desire every day more and more to know about all these things. That true chosen one is the one who cries out day by day for all this. He who is not: he will not be crying out; he will be pointing, accusing.

But each one, as we have already spoken and as we have seen from the Scriptures, each one aligns himself in the group that corresponds to him.

Meanwhile, to the elect: We are rejoicing, we are glad, we have that revival in our soul, in our heart; and there it is producing, germinating that revival; and soon that entire Word will be in our hearts; that around it, around that Word, is that we are going to be transformed. Only the chosen one is going to obtain that, because he is receiving that Word. And all in a simple way, directly, as I said today, directly to the inside of the chosen one; because the revival is inside the chosen one.

[WSS] After that, whatever has to come – or whatever has to come that is visible to the public, that will come…

[JBP] That is for the Thomases, that later on then when they see, they say: “Hey, that was really God working in the midst of us. How did I miss it, and I missed all that time!” Well, then he will have three and a half years to make the most of it. Now…, now that time, you will not have the opportunity to prepare yourself. I say it this way: “to take advantage of it,” but rather you will have to go through the divine judgments that will fall on this planet Earth.

There is a part where he says that [WSS] “one wouldn’t have wished to have known those people, because of the love that one has for them…,” [JBP] we are in the Age of Divine Love, and because of the love that one has for them, [WSS] “one would have never wished to have known them, because of what they are going to receive.” One talks about the blessings, one talks about all that the chosen one, the children of God are going to receive, but it also talks about the divine judgments that are going to fall upon those people who are not aligned with the Word. The blessing and the curse are placed on them.

That is why he said at that time: [WSS] “Choose life, the blessings, so that you may live”; in other words, both are made known to them.

[WSS] Then, whatever there is to come – or whatever has to come that is visible to the public, that will come; but first this part of God has to come deal with the elect as individuals, and produce a revival in each elect as an individual; and then that will materialize, become incarnate; and so then, whoever wants to see something: Wait until the Word is fully incarnate in you and me.

[Rev. Jose B. Perez] And in the message:

CHRIST AND HIS CHURCH ALWAYS OVERCOMING
(Ministers Meeting)
Dr. William Soto Santiago
Saturday, July 23, 2011
Santiago de Chile, Chile

One thing is to say that they believe in the promises of God, and another thing is when the time comes for their fulfillment, that they believe in the way in which God is working to fulfill what He has promised; that is where the identification is clear whether they believe or not.

Because sometimes there are people who say they believe but it has to be their way; if it is not the way they think things should be, then they don’t believe. Well, they don’t believe, because God doesn’t do things according to how people think, but according to how God thought, according to how God planned since before the foundation of the world.

[Rev. Jose B. Perez] There is a part that tells us, in the book of The Ages, on page 193 [page 176 in Eng.], it says [PAGE 191]:

The last-day messenger will appear in God’s appointed time. It is the end time now as all know, for Israel is in the homeland. Any time now he will come according to Malachi. When we see him, he will be dedicated to the Word. He will be indicated (pointed out in the Word, Revelation 10:7), and God will vindicate his ministry. He will preach the truth as did Elijah and be ready for the Mount Zion showdown.

Many will misunderstand him because they have been taught Scripture in a certain way which they consider truth. When he comes against that, they will not believe. Even some true ministers will misunderstand the messenger because so much has been called God’s truth by deceivers.

[JBP] and he writes:

[WSS] «Some ministers will misunderstand the messenger».

[WSS] «The challenge = Mount Zion».

[Rev. Jose B. Perez] And that has happened from age to age: some have always misunderstood the messenger. That is, some have misunderstood the messenger that God sends or the leader that God has to fulfill the promises for the time in which they are living.

He goes on to say:

[WSS] God is not obliged to do things according to how human beings think or want them to be done.

How many millions of human beings are there? He would have to please each one; but the human being is obliged to believe as God thinks and as God does things. A person can’t change God’s way of thinking: It is eternal, and He didn’t ask anyone for advice. Who was His counselor? Who gave Him first so that God gives to the person?

Therefore, the things, the prophecies, say what God thought He is going to carry out; those are the prophecies. And that is why by the Holy Spirit they are given through the different prophets, and God is not going to move from what He said He is going to do.

[Rev. Jose B. Perez] On page 189 it also tells us [The Ages, PAGE 188]:

Now let us stand like Joshua and Caleb. Our promised land is coming in sight even as theirs did. Now Joshua means “Jehovah-Saviour,” and he represents the end-time leader that will come to the church even as Paul came as the original leader. Caleb represents those that stayed true with Joshua. Remember, God had started Israel as a virgin with His Word. But they wanted something different. So did the last-day church.

[JBP] And he writes:

[WSS] «7th Millennium».

[WSS] «The promised land».

Notice how God did not move Israel, or let her go into the promised land until it was His own appointed time ([JBP] and there): [WSS] «The promised land». Now the people might have put pressure on Joshua, the leader, and said, “The land is ours, let’s go and take it. Joshua, you are all through, you must have lost your commission, you don’t have the power you used to have.

[JBP] And he writes: [WMB] “you don’t have” and writes: [WSS] «5th Elijah». [WMB] “the power you used to have” and writes: [WSS] «4th Elijah».

(…) You used to hear from God and know the will of God, and act quickly. Something is wrong with you.” But Joshua was a God-sent prophet and he knew the promises of God, so he waited for them. He waited for a clear-cut decision from God and when the time came to move, God placed the full leadership in Joshua’s hands because he had stayed with the Word. God could trust Joshua but not the others. So it will repeat in this end day. The same problem, the same pressures.

[Rev. Jose B. Perez] It goes on to say here in the message “CHRIST AND HIS CHURCH ALWAYS OVERCOMING”:

[WSS] That is why there is also a Vision of a Great Tent Cathedral, and God is not going to move from the fulfillment of that promise; God is not going to move to do something else but God is going to move to inspire and use human beings to bring about the construction of that Great Tent Cathedral; which will be the concretization of the divine thought that was given in dream or vision to Reverend William Branham; He showed him there the culminating part of the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ in the Last Day, when there will come a squeeze upon and against the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ.

[Rev. Jose B. Perez] And on page 20 [pages 18-19 in Eng.] of the message we read “THE GREAT WARRIOR, JOSHUA,” it says:

45 O Lord Jesus, Son of God, the great Joshua to the Gentile church to lead us from this chaos of wilderness, for poor little wandering pilgrims are traveling around through the wilderness, Lord, up-and-down, back-and-forth, because of the leaders who’s robbed them from the children’s bread. O Joshua, Joshua, the Lord Jesus, the I AM, move in tonight with predominating faith. Take possession tonight of every sick person in here. If there be a sinner, take possession of him, shake him, let him know that we’re here at Jordan.

O God, one of these days You’ll gather all Your children, sanctify them through Your Blood. You’ll bring them out on the side of the bank to view the land over, be changed in a moment, in a twinkling of an eye, and cross over Jordan. We’re waiting for that hour.

Father, we pray tonight that You’ll send Jesus, and may He come in this audience now and do that which He said He would do, and heal the sick and the afflicted. For we ask it in His Name. Amen.

46 Have faith in God. I say to you, my dear brother, my sister, the Lord Jesus Christ the Son of the living God never fails. He can’t fail. What have we to look to tonight? We got a Leader tonight. It’s the second Joshua, none other but the Lord Jesus Himself, the Captain of the host of the Lord. He’s with His people. He’s here in power ([JBP] and he writes): [WSS] «2nd Joshua».

[Rev. Jose B. Perez] May God bless us, may God keep us tonight, in this little talk that we have had, in this little teaching; and so, a little informal, but it has been for me a great privilege to read all these excerpts, and all this Word and these writings, that for me (and I know for all of you) have been of great blessing.

And let’s continue in this end time preparing, receiving, all that Word, all that Message that goes directly to the interior of the elect; because that revival is here, in the heart of each one of God’s elect. That was spoken in “THE REVIVAL OF THE HOLY SPIRIT.”

Onward! Elect of God, God’s predestined ones, predestined since before the foundation of the world: We have come out to enter the promised land of the new body. Don’t be discouraged at any moment, keep going, keep holding on to the Message, to the Word, we are going to reach the goal of our transformation.

May God bless you, may God keep you. Continue having a night filled with the blessings of our heavenly Father.

God bless you and God keep you all.
